Ingwe provides multi-disciplinary engineering design services as required by Mining, Infrastructure and Energy projects. These services include the full design spectrum from Conceptual studies through to ‘Issued for Construction (IFC)’. The engineering disciplines include Process, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Control and Instrumentation (C&I). Where required, Ingwe will manage construction to ensure the correct implementation of the engineering designs. We also provide site support and commissioning of the systems designed for our clients to reach, and where possible, exceed the required business case objectives.

We focus on cost-effective designs with the required cost accuracy as prescribed by industry standards for world-class projects. Our team consists of registered Professional Engineers, Technologists and Technicians.

The Ingwe team has 30 years of experience in the execution of projects and have won various global awards. Their experience covers all continents, executing projects for very diverse clients. We therefore ensure we properly understand, not only the detailed engineering aspects of our designs to ensure the entire system works, but also all the complexities of working in diverse countries and regions, taking into consideration local regulatory constraints.  

We use modern software design and control packages to assist with economical solutions to our clients. Ingwe’s engineering services are offered, either as a stand-alone service or as part of larger EPCM and EPC projects.

Ingwe provides professional engineers that are registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) for all disciplines that require Pr.Eng. signoff by law. In most cases Pr.Eng. Signoff is required for Civil, Structural and Electrical designs and only in some cases, depending on the design requirements and complexities, Process, Mechanical and C&I.
